10 tricks to move faster in Decknote
Decknote is built so you never take your hands off the keyboard. Ten tricks to fly across your boards.
1. Command palette
Press Ctrl/Cmd + Kfrom anywhere and jump to any board or card by typing its name. It's the fastest way to navigate.
2. Slash commands in cards
Inside a card, type / to insert headings, lists, checklists, quotes or code blocks, Notion style.
3. Card templates
Save any card as a board template (title, content and labels) and reuse it when creating new ones. Ideal for repetitive processes.
4. Three views, one board
Switch between kanban, table and calendar without duplicating data. Every view respects the same filters.
5. Combinable filters
Filter by label, assignee, text and due status at once. The URL saves the filter, so you can share the exact view.
6–10. The rest
- Mark boards as favorites to keep them first on your dashboard.
- Duplicate cards or entire lists with one click.
- Drag and drop images straight into the description.
- Use "My tasks" to see everything assigned to you in one place.
- Automate through the REST API with personal tokens.
Create your free Decknote account and try all of this on your own board — no credit card required.
